A friend of mine just had her daughter's first birthday party this weekend so I asked for her thoughts on a birthday party for the twins. I wanted something with butterflies for K2 but I wasn't sure how to do it for B. She suggested a garden party with decorations for butterflies and caterpillars. What a fantastic idea! K1 loves plants, gardening, and bugs, and his favorite desert is dirt (the edible kind, not the real stuff) so it seemed like it was meant to be. I'm starting my planning now, which will give me a few months to look for sales on decorations so that I'm not doing everything at the last second.
It's hard to believe that they're almost one! I am so excited.
